Install Offer Calc, build your first calculator, and put it on a page in about ten minutes.

Install

  1. In your dashboard go to Plugins → Add New and search for Offer Calc.
  2. Click Install Now, then Activate.

Prefer a file? Download the zip from WordPress.org and upload it under Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin.

Create your first offer

An offer is one calculator. Go to Offer Calc → Add Offer, give it a title, and fill in Offer Services. Each row is one line of the calculator:

  • Service: what the visitor is buying, such as “Pages, design and build”.
  • Price: the price per unit. Plain numbers work best (450, not $450).
  • Set Dropdown Limit: the lowest and highest quantity a visitor can pick. Leave it empty for 0 to 40.

Publish the offer. The Offer Shortcode box in the sidebar shows the shortcode to copy.

Add it to a page

Paste the shortcode into any page or post. The slug is the offer’s slug.

[ofc_shortcode offer_slug="website-project"]

In the block editor, use a Shortcode block. You can place several offers on one page.

Add it to a sidebar

Under Appearance → Widgets, add the Offer Calc Widget to any widget area and pick the offer to show.

Choose the input for each line

By default visitors pick a quantity from a dropdown. Tick Replace service dropdown? on a row and choose a Count Type to use instead:

  • Radio buttons: tiers or packages, each with its own value.
  • Checkbox: an optional add-on, counted once when ticked.
  • Text field or text area: a free-form answer sent along with the offer.
  • Labelled dropdown: the normal dropdown with a label beside it.

Rename the column labels

Tick Edit Header Labels on the offer to change Service, Price, Count, Total and Image to your own words. The live demo on the homepage uses this to show “Qty” instead of “Count”.

Show an image per service

Tick Custom Service Images? and upload an image on each row. It appears beside the service name.

Let visitors email the offer

Tick Enable Email Offer on an offer to add a send button under the total. You can set:

  • Email Address: where this offer’s submissions go.
  • Minimum Offer Submission Value: the total must reach this before the offer can be sent.

Site-wide defaults, the sender name, and the subject and body of the emails to you and to the visitor live under Offer Calc → Settings. Submissions are protected by a captcha.

Email is sent through WordPress’s own mailer. If your host does not deliver mail reliably, add an SMTP plugin.

For developers

The output is a plain HTML form with stable class names, so your theme’s CSS can restyle it completely. The plugin also exposes filters. Add a currency symbol, for example:

add_filter( 'offer_calc_add_currency', function ( $value ) {
	return '$' . $value;
} );
  • offer_calc_add_currency: wraps every price and total.
  • offer_calc_dynamic_title: changes the column labels.
  • offer_calc_replace_count_dropdown: replaces the quantity input on a row.
